It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Dean Herman Sr. announces his peaceful passing at Baptist hospital in Beaumont surrounded by his family on April 30, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on March 22, 1961 in Orange, Texas to parents, Mandy Mae (Harris) and Galen Ray Herman.
Terry will forever be remembered by his wife of 41 years, Christine and his children Terry II and wife, Ashley, Chris, Jose, Jesus (Jr), Andrea, and Aaliyah. He will be remembered by his grandchildren Kaden, Khloe, Hadlee, Terry III (TJ), Jaden, Sophia and Ava, by his sisters, Geneva and Barbara, by his brothers Galen and wife Cindy and Ronnie. He will also be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends left to cherish the times they had with him.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Mandy and his father, Galen, and his sister, Becky.
Terry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Terry lived his best life surrounded by people that knew just how wonderful of a man he was. His wife was his security blanket and if she wasn’t with him then he wasn’t going anywhere and you couldn’t make him. You could always find him sitting in his garage on his swing with his jacket on no matter the weather. He was a man you would never keep down, even though he’d say his famous words “momma said there would be days like this, never said it would be all the damn time”. He was a very stubborn man and didn’t care what anyone wanted, he did what he wanted and you couldn’t tell him no different, like he said “ the eagles got over it, you will too”. Nothing stopped him until the day the good Lord called him home. We will forever mourn his passing and celebrate his life. There is no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you are always in our hearts. Our world will be different without you.
