Roosevelt Hodgson

Roosevelt Hodgson, 78, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

A native of Nicaragua and a resident of Port Arthur for 45 years. He retired as a boilermaker with several companies in the area, including TDI.

He is survived by his daughters, Natlie Diaz of Nederland, Maria Solome Cobos of Port Neches, Tina Lopez of Nederland, his five grandchildren, Mark Hodgson, Daisy Cobos, Brianna Cobos, Alicia Lopez and Gabriella Lopez. He is also surived by his sisters, Paulita Hodgson, Crismilitia Hodgson, her brothers, Fernando and Gusto Hodgson.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves. Service to honoe Roosevelt's life will be at 10:00 AM Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Due to the Covid-19 crisis we are currently in, all visitors are required to wear face mask or face covering and practice social distancing as mandated by the state and county officials
