Phyllis Ann NeQuent, 58, of Port Acres, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2022 at her home in Northeast Houston.
She was born on February 6,1964 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ernest Andrew NeQuent and Blanche Livingston NeQuent. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Port Acres, Texas, before moving to the Houston area for the last four years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest NeQuent and Blanche NeQuent, her sister, Debby NeQuent, her brother, Al NeQuent and her nephew, Heath NeQuent.
Phyllis is survived by her twin brother, Philip NeQuent of Houston, Texas, brothers; Chris NeQuent of Buna, Texas; and, Thomas NeQuent of Conroe, Texas. Her sisters; Linda Marsh Ham of Crockett, Texas; Carolyn Small Castillo of Nederland, Texas; and, Anita NeQuent Stovall of Nederland, Texas. Her nieces and nephews; Tammy Allen; Bettina Dickerson; Kathy Wright; Brandy Hammers; Lacey Stovall; April Stovall; Ashley Pitts; Angelica NeQuent; Jacqueline Boudin; Maggie NeQuent, Heather Carlile, Amanda Lightle, Kenny Marsh; Robert Romero; Oscar Simmons; Alden "Lil Al" NeQuent; Aaron NeQuent; Adam NeQuent; Chad NeQuent; Eric NeQuent; Cody NeQuent; and, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her loving caregivers' Kevin and Michelle Young of New Caney, Texas.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022, beginning at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Celebration of life will immediatley follow at 12:00 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
The family would like to extend their special appreciation to the Young family and her twin brother, Phillip NeQuent for the loving care of Phyllis after the passing of her mother, Blanche NeQuent in 2011.
