Patricia Marie Dollins

Patricia Marie Dollins, 60, of Buna passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Orange, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born on March 5, 1963 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Melva Marie (Henry) and Louis Joseph Landry. She had lived in Buna since 2014. Prior to that, she had lived in Port Neches, Port Arthur, and Groves. Patricia was a self-employed Interior Decorator for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, playing slots, potted plant keeping, artist pursuits, (like painting, crafts, and DIY home improvement projects), and had a great love for dogs. Over the years, Patricia rescued, fostered, adopted, and found homes for dozens of dogs throughout the Southeast Texas area. She also enjoyed talking on the phone and visiting with her family and friends. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Melba Landry.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James Patrick Dollins of Buna, TX; her children, Cody Cochran and his wife, Jasmine of San Antonio, TX, Kayla Stokes and her husband, James of Groves, TX, Katie Marioneaux and her husband, Michael “Mook" of Orange, TX, Penny Dollins of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael Broussard and his wife, Melissa of Groves, TX; her grandchildren, James-David, Naomi, and Emily; her siblings, Joseph “Joe” Parks of Austin, TX, Sheila Broussard of Buna, TX, Lide Dominguez of Austin, TX; and her by extended family, Paul, Allison, and Bri Nixon of the Cayman Islands.

Patricia has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mid-County Paws of Hope or Be Intentional, in her loving memory. If you feel the need to send something for the service, please send a potted plant, the keeping of which was one of Patricia's many great passions.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 PM until service time. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Bell with Southeast Texas Hospice. Cremation will follow the service.
