Michael Schexnaider

Michael Schexnaider, born on January 6, 1960, in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 22,2025, in Port Neches, Texas. He was a cherished member of his community and is remembered for his dedicated service in the food industry and his commitment to safety in his role as a security guard.

Michael worked as a security guard in local businesses and also worked in food service at Luby’s in Port Arthur and at Larry’s in Groves, where he enjoyed connecting with patrons and ensuring they had a pleasant dining experience..

He is survived by his loving mother, Juliet "Pinky" Schexnaider of Port Arthur; his brother, John Schexnaider Jr. of Port Arthur; and his niece, Tiffany Lynn Schexnaider. Michael's family was an important part of his life, and he took great pride in supporting and spending time with them.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, John Schexnaider Sr., his brother, Mark Schexnaider, and his sister Vickie Bishop. The loss of these family members left a mark on his heart, but their memories remained a guiding influence in his life.

As we remember Michael Schexnaider, let us celebrate his spirit, his love for his family, and his contributions to the community he called home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9 A.M. till 10 A.M. followed by a Memorial service at 10 A.M, here at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
