Marylyn Mannino Touchette
Marylyn Kay Touchette, 70, of Groves passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Marylyn was born on February 17, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Euna (Tuzin) and Benjamin Mannino. She had lived in the Groves area for 50 plus years and was a member of Immaculate Conception-St. Peter Catholic Church. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1967. Marylyn enjoyed painting, music, crocheting, and cooking for family and friends. Marylyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Euna Mannino, her brothers, Ishmeal Borel, Rosario Mannino, Ralph Mannino, Benny Mannino, Kenneth Mannino, her sisters, Christine Calhoun, Edith Mannino and Ramona Gipson.
Marylyn is survived by her husband, Howard "Butch" Touchette of Groves, John Touchette of Groves, Jason Touchette of Port Neches, her grandchildren, Bailey Touchette, Josie Touchette, her great grandson, Enzo Addison. She is also survived by her twin sisters, Suzanne LaFleur and her husband, Robert and Dianne Landry all of Groves, her sister, Jeridine Wolford and her husband, Billy of Groves and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Immaculate Conception-St. Peter Catholic Church in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM, with a rosary to be prayed at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
