Marina Lynn Mendoza, born on October 20, 1967, in Bartow, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. She was a cherished member of her family and a beloved friend to many.
Marina's professional journey culminated with her retirement from the United States Postal Service, where she dedicated many years to serving her community. Her hard work and commitment were exemplary, and she left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
An individual of creative spirit, Marina found joy in the arts, crafts, and the beauty of gardening. Her love for these pursuits was evident to all who knew her, and she often shared her talents with friends and family, inspiring them with her passion and creativity.
She is survived by her step father, Robert Anthony Jimenez; her father, Curtis James Nichols; her daughter, Heather Richard and husband, Micah, of Groves; and her beloved grandson, Gage Anthony Richard. Additionally, Marina is remembered fondly by her sisters, Regina Ware of Groves and Trina Galvan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend Jamie Prince, who will carry her memory forward in their hearts.
Marina was preceded in death by her mother, Lola "Terry" Jimenez, with whom she shared a close bond and whose memory she cherished throughout her life.
