Marie Louise Domingue

Marie Louise Boudreaux Domingue, 83, of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

She was born on July 17, 1936 to her parents, Austin Boudreaux and Pearl Bellard Boudreaux in Churchpoint, LA. Marie lived most of her life in the area, graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1954 and earned a cosmetology certificate from Port Arthur College. She was a devoted and caring homemaker in raising her children along with her husband, Cecil. Marie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Kirk Touchet.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years this coming December, Cecil Domingue of Port Arthur, her two daughters, Carolyn Lawson and husband, Mike of Bridge City, Edie Domingue and Walt Murray of Orange, her two sons, Brian Domingue and wife, Gail of New Braunfels, Tracy Domingue and wife, Tammy of Port Arthur, her eight grandchildren, Ashley Jenkins and husband, Tim, Anthony Smith and wife, Miranda, JamesonTalamantez, Kristi Courtney and husband, Chris, Roxanne Alexander and husband, David, Renee Wagner and Beau Myrick, Tiffany Walker and husband, Marvin, Chrissy Schaffner and husband, Steve. She is also survived by her 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as her two sisters, Donna Shoemaker and husband, Bill of Deweyville, Nina Holland of Orange, her two brothers, Roland Boudreaux and wife, Joy of Port Arthur, Fred Boudreaux and wife, Angela of Huntersville, NC. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 3:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Marie’s life will be at 4:00 PM Friday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors.

In lieu of Flowers, family request donations can be made to your favorite charity, Kindred Home Heath or Kindred Hospice , any animal shelter or rescue program.
