Lon Paul Robbins, 90, of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at The Cascades of Port Arthur.

Lon was born on April 16, 1931 in Evergreen, Louisiana to parents Alice (Grimble) and Charles Robbins. He had lived most of his life in Port Arthur and he had graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Lon was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and he was a member of Memorial Baptist Church for many years. He had worked in law enforcement, auto sales and was owner and operator of a car lot. He enjoyed going golfing, watching football and baseball games; he was a avid reader and history buff. Lon was a great family man, loved going camping, hunting and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Alice Robbins, his brother, Rudy Robbins, his sister, Barbara Miles, his son, Johnny L. Robbins and his grandson, John Kristian Robbins

Lon is survived by his wife who he married on April 20, 1952, Betty Jo (DeCuir) Robbins of Port Arthur, his son, Barry Robbins and Natalie Fexer of Houston, his daughter, Paula Robbins Adam of Marrero, LA and his older brother, Charles G. Robbins. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordon Robbins, Zachary Robbins, Rodney Adam Jr., Kassidy Adam Prestenbach and husband, Tim Prestenbach, Kandi Robbins Patterson and husband, Trey Patterson and his great grandchildren, Levi Robbins, Peyton Prestenbach, Ryder Prestenbach, Madelyn Prestenbach, Grayson Robbins, Farrah Robbins, Mandi Boudreaux and Jaylen Adam.

The family is holding a private memorial service. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves
