Julie Gwen Aycock, 51, of Woodville passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Sabine Pass.
She was born on July 16, 1968 to her parents, Lynn Murdoch and Helen Kathleen Rosebrook Murdoch in Longview, Texas. Julie has been a lifelong resident of the area. She worked at Sportsman Paradise in Sabine Pass as a cashier for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn, her mother, Helen Kathleen Williams and her step-father, Edward Williams.
Julie is survived by her three daughters, Shauna Aycock and her husband, Nicholas Webb of Carthage, Texas, Heather Aycock of Bay City, MS., Lindsey Tischler and her husband, Chad of Woodville, eight grandchildren, De’ Shaun Hall, De’ Andre Sanders, Ja’ Kobe Aycock, Cameryn Webb, Bentley Aycock, Trip Tischler, Ari Tischler, Faith Tischler and Abigail Tischler.
She is also survived by her sisters, Juanita Williams and her husband, Gene of Woodstock, OH., Kathleen Sanchez of Nederland, Karen McPherson and her husband, Eddie of Port Arthur, Leandra Colvin and her husband, Walter Jack of Groves, her brothers, Max Murdoch and his wife, Alma of New Braunfels, Texas, and Johnny Sanchez of Houston along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Julie’s life will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
