Flisha Marie Ramirez, 36, of Nederland passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
She was born on March 14, 1986 in Port Arthur, Texas to Antonio Ramirez, Jr. and Darla Dill Ramirez. Flisha was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Nederland High School in 2005. Flisha worked as a Medical Office Assistant for Srinivasa Rao Kothapalli, M.D. and Nidal I. Buheis, M. D. Cardiologist for over 6 years. She was very active with the Mexican Heritage Festival as a board member, Coordinator of Queens Pageant and Folkloric Dancer. Flisha was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Antonio Ramirez, Sr. and Geneva Ramirez; grandmother, Deanna Lachausse Dill; her aunts, Debbie Quigley and DaNell Goshen.
Flisha is survived by her loving parents, Antonio “Tony” Ramirez, Jr. and Darla Ramirez of Nederland; her grandfather, Norman Dill and wife Mary of Honey Island; her aunts, DierDra Bean and husband Charles of Lumberton, Gail Snider, JoLynn Collier, Mary Jo Sumner; two great aunts, Minerva Ortiz of Port Arthur and Rose Rumsey of Orangefield along with numerous cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or M. D. Anderson Cancer Research Hospital, Julie Rogers Gift of Life in memory of Flisha.
