Earline Kelly Morrison

Earline Kelly Morrison, 93, of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Caydance Assisted Living in Katy, Texas.

Earline was born on August 20, 1926 in Marlin, Texas to parents, Bessie (Boatwright) and Emmet Kelly. She had live most of her life in Port Arthur and she was co-owner of Morrison Furniture Store in Port Arthur. Earline had worked many years at Aldersgate Methodist Church as a secretary, then she attended the Methodist Temple. She enjoyed going fishing, playing golf, working in her garden and taking short trips to the casino. Earline was a loving person who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel "BucK' Morrison Sr., and her son, Daniel Earl Morrison Jr. and eight siblings.

Earline is survived by her granddaughters, Melissa Rogers and her husband, Tim, and Karen Gerth, her great grandchildren, MaKenzie Rogers, Payton Gerth, Colton Gerth, Addison Rogers and her daughter in law, Frances Morrison. She is also survived by her siblings, Frances Saxson, Billy Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held by the family, due to the COVID-19 crises, arrangements were entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
