Dorothy Merle North

Dorothy Merle Ayers North, 93, of Beaumont passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her home.

She was born on March3, 1929 in Wiergate, Texas to Dick and Della Ayers.  Dorothy was a graduate of Burkeville High School.  She lived most of her life in the area and was a devoted homemaker in raising her son with her husband.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Della when she was 12, her father Dick Ayers and her husband Charles Ray North.

She is survived by her son, Don North and wife Charlotte of Hemphill, Texas; her two granddaughters, Shanna North Sanders and husband Mike of Missouri City, Tabatha North of Missouri City; her two great granddaughters, Averi  Morton and Addison Morton both of College Station, Texas.

Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Private entombment of her ashes will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
