Doris Jeanette Wagner

July 21, 1928 — April 8, 2023

Doris “Jeanette” Cramer Wagner, 94, went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2023. She has been yearning for her heavenly home for years. A sweet saint has gone home, forever to be with her Lord.
Jeanette was born on July 21, 1928 to John and Agnes Cramer in Coldspring, TX, and was the oldest of three daughters. She was raised in Port Arthur, TX and finished high school at Southwestern in Waxahachie, TX. Jeanette entered St Mary’s Hospital nursing school and became an RN in 1948. She worked in different areas and retired in 1993 from PAISD as a school nurse.
She loved her home church, First Assembly of God in Port Arthur, and was the church pianist from the age of 12 to around 85. She made many life long friends that she treasured her entire life.
Jeanette was introduced to a tall, handsome man from Louisiana and she and Claiborne were married in 1950. John, Vicki, and Susan, were added to their family in the next 10 years.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56.5 years, her parents, John and Agnes Cramer, and her sister, Ann Ledbetter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Jo Ellen (Joe) Nicholson; her children, John (Lesa) Wagner, Vicki (Art) Fisher, Susan (Ali) Yousefian; grandchildren Nathan (Allison)Wagner, Jeremy Wagner, Valerie (Brent) Coleman, Lindsay (Josh) Yawn, Alex (Mahnoush) Yousefian, Andrew Yousefian; great grandchildren Ava Wagner, Hudson Wagner, Beau Wagner, Cash Wagner, Carter Coleman, Crew Coleman, Landry Coleman, and Amelia Yawn (coming April 2023); Claiborne’s siblings, Lawrence, Vera, Jim, Annette, and Shirley, and many special nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Nathan Wagner, Jeremy Wagner, Brent Coleman, Josh Yawn, Alex Yousefian, and Andrew Yousefian. Honorary pallbearers are Hudson Wagner, Beau Wagner, Cash Wagner, Carter Coleman, and Landry Coleman. Nathan Wagner, grandson and oldest grandchild of Mrs. Wagner, will officiate.
