David Ronald Lundy, Sr., 82, of West Orange, Texas passed away on October 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born on September 16, 1936 to his parents, William Clinton Lundy and Elsie Clark Lundy in Jayton, Texas. David served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a longtime resident of Dumas, Texas before moving to West Orange over five years ago. David worked as a superintendent in the Construction business with over 55 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sue Davis, his brothers, Kyle and Nicky Lundy, his daughter, Cassaundra Lundy and his son, David Lundy, II.
David is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Lundy of West Orange, Texas, his daughter, Lisa Wills and husband, Robert of Odessa, Texas, his sons, Rodney Lundy of West Orange, Texas and William Clint Lundy of Garden City, Kansas, his daughter-in-law, Susan Lundy of Nederland, Texas along with 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Lou Ann Clark and husband, Howard and his brother, Richard Lundy and wife, Barbara all of Amarillo, Texas as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves, Texas. A memorial service honoring David’s life will be celebrated at Church of Christ in Stinnett, Texas on November 10, 2018.
