Carrol Glenn Kile, 84, of Katy passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Methodist Hospital West in Katy.
He was born on March 23, 1937 in Sabine Pass, Texas to Earl Martin Kile, Sr. and Mary Girthel Johnson Kile. Carrol was raised in Sabine Pass, lived in Groves and Bridge City before moving to Katy, TX. in 2020. He retired as a Spotter Pilot with Omega Protien after 53 years. Carrol loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Earl M. Kile, Jr.
Carrol is survived by his loving wife, Martha Mullenix Kile of Katy; his four sons, Stewart Kile and wife Kari of Lumberton, Dennis Kile and wife Nancy of Orangefield, Colby Gaspard and wife Kym of Katy, Adam Gaspard and wife Tou of Katy; grandchildren, Taylor Kile, Cade Kile, Cale Kile, Keira Gaspard, Kasey Gaspard, Dalia Gaspard, Eli Gaspard, Caelia Sisakda and Kavan Sisakda. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Sue Karrer of Marion, Texas along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Carrol’s life will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sabine Pass United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 367, Sabine Pass, TX. 77655 in memory of Carrol.
