Glendell R. Procella

Glendell R. "Pro" Procella died January 17, 2009 peacefully at his home. Glen was born on December 5, 1929 to Henry Procella and Marcelina Parrie Procella in Hemphill, TX. He graduated from Hemphill High School and Stephen F. Austin University. Glen served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from Gulf Oil Corp. as a Supervisor of the Laboratory. Glen was lovingly cared for by Josephine Jiminez Procella, his wife of 35 years. He is survived by daughters; Judy Britt of Vidor, Nancy Hoitsma and husband Karl of Tyler, TX., Ramona Richmond and husband Eric of Stafford, VA., Mary Ann Smith and husband Gary of Tyler, TX. and Tammie Hollier of San Cloud FL., brothers, Eugene Procella and wife Euline of Hemphill, TX., Rayford Procella of Columbia, SC., Earnest Procella of Orange, TX., Msgr. Paul Procella of New Caney, TX. and Brad Langford and wife Donna of Bellville, TX., 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by a son and 2 grandchildren.
