Clarence Logue, 82, of Groves, Texas died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves. He was born February 23, 1926 in Grand Chenier, Louisiana to Annie and Celestion Logue. He has lived in the Groves since 1964. Clarence served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Japan. He retired from Port Drum as a burner after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon McDaniel, Brent Orta, Brian Anguiano, Chris Clabon, Raul Chavez, Wayne Ozio and Marco Watson serving as honorary pallbearer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Eva Ramos. He is survived by his wife Mary Logue, sister Audrey Benoit, daughters, Gwen Logue, Rozie (Marco) Watson, Diana (Wayne) Ozio, Jenny (Raul) Chavez; Grandchildren Brandon (Dominque) McDaniel, Chris (Kamaria) Clabon, Brent (Liz) Orta, Tish (Brinson) Keyes, Amber (Daniel) Castro, Brian (Christina) Anguiano, Brittany Walker, Courtney Walker and 17 great grandchildren.
