Cleveland P. Reaux, 64, of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 14, 1944 to Lucille LeMaire Reaux and Jean Reaux in Delcambre, Louisiana. Cleveland served in the U. S. Army. He worked as welder/fitter for H & H Shipyard in Bridge City for many years until he retired under medical conditions. He was a member of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres. He was a member of the Golden Triangle Cajun French Music Association for several years and served as a past president. Cleveland was a third degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #3195 in Port Acres from June 95 to present, he served as Grand Knight of the Council from 2003-2006. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry J. Reaux. He is survived by his loving wife Margie Reaux of Port Acres, three daughters Michelle Griffith and her husband Dennis, Vickie Hanna and her husband Ronnie, Cassie Sandoval all of Port Acres. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shannon Griffith, Aaron Griffith, Danielle Griffith, Trey Sandoval, Zyth Sandoval, step grandchildren Steven and Michael Hanna along with his brothers Howard Reaux and his wife Beverly of Erath, Louisiana, John Reaux and his wife Mary of New Iberia, Louisiana, Stanley Reaux and his wife Agnes of New Iberia, Louisiana as well as several nieces and nephews.
