Bobby G. Lanclos

Bobby G. Lanclos, 70, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday March 19, 2009 at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born November 12, 1938 to Eunice Hayes Lanclos and Joshua Lanclos in Pecaniere, Louisiana. He was a resident of Groves for over 35 years. He was the owner and operater of Bobby's Upholstery. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Saturday March 21, 2009 from 10 A.M. until service time at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Rev. Msgr. Kenneth R. Greig, officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Bean, Samuel Bean, Rodney Gary, Harvey Hughes, Kelly Michael Lanclos. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Frances Lanclos of Groves, his son Kelly Lanclos and wife Dawn of Pearland, Texas, his daughter Beth Lanclos of Groves, two grandchildren Samuel Bean Lanclos and Kelly Michael Lanclos. He is also survived by his mother Eunice Lanclos of Groves, his sisters Dolores Ruysenaars and husband Pete of Beaumont, Genelle Smith and husband Steve of Mauriceville and Pam Hernandez and husband Claude of Beaumont along with aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Southeast Texas Food Bank or the Humane Society of Southeast Texas in memory of Bobby.
