Thalda E. Logan

January 12, 1920 - July 9, 2009

Thalda Ennis Logan, 89, went home to be with The Lord on July 9, 2009 in Huntington, Tex. She had been a residence of Port Arthur for seventy-two years before moving to Huntington on August 29,2008. She was born in Port Neches, Tex. on January 12, 1920 to J.B. Ennis and Bertha Reeves Ennis. Thalda graduated from Port Neches High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Arthur after moving to Port Arthur. She was a homemaker and will be remembered as an excellent desert cook. She had loved to walk at Central Mall for years before her illness. Her loving husband of 64 years Frank H. Logan preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her parents, Bertha & J.B. Ennis and her grandsons Frank H. Logan, Jr. and Frank H. Logan III. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Logan Moorhead and her husband William R Moorhead of Lake Rayburn and her son Frank H. Logan and his wife Chay of Dickerson, Tex, brother Rev. James Ennis and his wife Jackie of Kerrville, Tex, three devoted grandchildren, Cheryl Young & husband Ray, Bill (W.H.) Moorhead and Mike (J. M.) Logan, four great-grandchildren, David & Logan Young, Michael & Samantha Logan.
