Romeo Vera, Jr., 54, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Apex Hospital in Houston. He was born August 13, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to Josephine Ochoa Vera and Romeo Vera, Sr. He lived in Port Arthur for most of his life before moving to Houston four years ago. Romeo was a member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. He was preceded in death by his mother Josephine Vera and his daughter Brandi Vera Paul. He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Stokes Vera of Houston, Texas, his daughters Tiffaney Vera Welborn of Port Neches, Texas and Kimberly Vera of Katy, Texas, his son Jason Vera of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandchildren Kaylee Vera, Krystyn Vera, Brianna Williams, Kristina Paul, Amanda Paul, Ashlynn Vera and Jolie Vera. He is also survived by his father Romeo Vera, Sr. and his wife Gaynell of Lake Charles, Louisiana, his sister Kathy Boudreaux of Port Neches, Texas, his brothers Paul Vera and his wife Maggie of Groves, Texas and Bobby Vera of Austin, Texas along with several nieces and nephews.
