Gloria Faye Guillote

Gloria Faye Byrd Guillote, 61, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 14, 1947 to Mary Depew Byrd and Joseph W. Byrd, Jr. in Shelbyville, Texas. She has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1952, graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Gloria attended college and received an associate degree as a legal secretary. She worked as a legal secretary for Melvin Boneau, in the Law Firm of Boneau and Lewis for 12 years. She was affiliated with First Baptist Church in Port Neches. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Byrd, Jr. and her sister Patricia Ann Byrd. She is survived by her mother Mary Byrd of Port Arthur, her sons Christopher Guillote of Groves, Matthew Guillote of Port Neches, three grandchildren Dylan Guillote, Trinity Guillote and Dustin Guillote, her uncles Ray Byrd of Nederland and James Byrd of Port Arthur along with several cousins.
