James Lee Patin, Sr.

December 4, 1922 - January 17, 2010

James Lee "Jimmie" Patin, Sr., age 87 of Groves passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in Groesbeck, Texas at a local nursing facility. Jimmie was born in Port Arthur to Laurent and Victoria Trosclair Patin on December 4, 1922. Jimmie was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Jimmie proudly served our country during WWII in the United States Navy. He retired from Union 76 as the Machine shop supervisor with 37 years of service.Jimmie was of the Catholic faith, He was a avid duck hunter and fisherman. Jimmie also raised orchids for over 50 years. He and his wife Aline were the owner of Green Glen Nursery in Groves. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lloyd and Roland Patin. He is survived by his wife Aline Patin of Groves, Son, James L. "Butch" Patin and his wife Carol of Groesbeck Texas, daughter, Judy Patin of Jackson, Ms.,two grandchildren, Jeremy Patin and Jennifer Seeger and two great-grandchildren Joe and Catlin Patin.
