Jane Cooper, 95 years old, passed away on March 21, 2010, in Beaumont, TX. Jane was born in Fostoria, TX, Nov. 6, 1914, to Albert Milton Tidwell and Rachel Ann Huffman Tidwell. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Edward Cooper, her son Albert Lee Cooper, her son-in-law Arthur William "Buster" Davis, her son-in-law James L. "Vaughn" Howell, and a granddaughter Dana Leigh Davis, and sisters Thelma Tidwell, Anna Lee Highsaw, and Bette Jo Fontenot. Jane lived her early years in Beaumont, TX, her middle years in Port Arthur, TX, her later years in Broaddus, TX, and her last years in Sabine Pass, TX. She is survived by a daughter Mary Davis of Sabine Pass, TX, and a daughter Rachel Howell of Plano, TX. Her grandchildren are Dane Anne Davis of Wildwood, John Warren Davis of Florida, Preston Davis and wife Hope of Port Neches, TX, Sidney Davis and wife Cindy of Sabine Pass, TX, Debbie Budd and husband Joe of China, TX, Pam Bernsen of Clinton, MS, and Kim Black of McKinney, TX, 17 great grandchildren and 23 great great-grandchildren, a sister, Hilda Heartfield of Houston, TX, and a brother-in-law Preston Cooper of Nederland, TX. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no formal services as per her request. Memorials may be made to your home church or your chosen charity.
