Nick Joseph Cimino, Sr.

January 17, 1924 - April 24, 2010

Nick Joseph Cimino, Sr., 86, of Groves was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 24, 2010. He was born January 17, 1924 to Jenny Gralinno Cimino and George Cimino in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1942. Nick served in the U. S. Army and the Merchant Marines. He retired from Texaco as a pipefitter after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. Catherines Catholic Church in Port Arthur and Pipefitters Local #195. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Randazzo Cimino of Groves, his daughters, Jenny Gilbert and Carol Bertrand both of Groves, his son, Nick Cimino, Jr. of Brenham, Texas along with his grandchildren, Alan Hebert, Alisa Jones, Aaron Hebert, Adrian Blanchard, Aric Blanchard, Ashlea Thibodeaux, Megan Bertrand and Andrew Blanchard as well as 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. He is also survived by his brother, Louis Cimino and wife Nelda of Groves, his sisters-in-law, Eula Mae Cimino, Adella Cimino, Lucille Cimino, Laura Cimino and Ruth Cimino along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
