Alfonso DeLaFuente

Alfonso DeLaFuente, age 62 of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his residence of a sudden illness. Alfonso was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on December 1, 1947 to his parents Manuel and Dolores DeLaFuente. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where he was a former Eucharist minister. Alfonso served our country in the U.S. Army. He had retired from Time Warner three months ago after 25 years of service as a technician. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel DeLaFuente. He is survived by his mother, Dolores DeLaFuente of Floydada, Texas, wife, Ludivina DeLaFuente of Port Arthur, sons, Alfonso DeLaFuente, Jr., of Port Arthur, and Alexander DeLaFuente of Beaumont, daughters Ludivina "Tita" Cibrian and Jessica Ramirez both of Port Arthur, 10 grandchildren, brothers, Jose Manuel DeLaFuente of Mercedes, Texas, Juan Antonio DeLaFuente of Floydada, Texas, Guadalupe DeLaFuente of Hart, Texas, Miguel DeLaFuente and Roberto DeLaFuente both of Floydada, Texas, sisters, Maria Santo Cuellar of Floydada, Texas, Rosa Maria Castro of Floydada, Texas, Petra Trevino of Edinburg, Texas, Dolores Trevino of Crosbyton, Texas, Estela Salinas of Del Rio, Texas, Hortencia Reynoso, of Denver City, Texas, Ofelia Hernandez of Floydada, Texas, six brother-in-laws of the Pompa family and two sister-in-laws.
