James Allen Dauphine

April 12, 1937 - July 19, 2010

James Allen Dauphine, 73, of Port Neches died Tuesday, July19 at Christus St. Mary Hospital with family and friends by his side. Allen retired from Gulf Oil after 32 years of service, he was an active member of O. C. A. W. He worked at the Hospitality Center for many years, he was an active member of St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Groves and headed the St. Vincent De Paul for over 20 years. Allen served on the Board of Gulf Credit Union for over 25 years. Allen graduated from Bishop Byrne High School - Section 1 in 1957. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Yola, brothers, Gerald and Lennie and his first wife, Faye. He is survived by his wife, Martha Dell Bordonaro Dauphine, son, Damian Dauphine and wife Georgia, Scott Bordonaro and wife Kim, brother, Chester Dauphine and wife Elsie, sisters, Nancy Schroeder and Donna Allen, sister-in-law, Louise Dauphine, three grandchildren, Brett, Blake and Brookelyn Bordonaro along with numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs, Sophie and Abbie, who will truly miss their faithful companion. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions, may be made to St. Vincent De Paul % St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church or Southeast Texas Humane Society. Allen was a friend to all and always had a helping hand to give.
