Ignacio "Nacho" DeLeon, 77, of Beauxart Gardens passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. He was born May 11, 1933 to Estela Cavazos DeLeon and Marcelo DeLeon in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1953 and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Nacho lived in Port Arthur for most of his life and has been residing in Beauxart Gardens for the last 14 years. He retired from Star Enterprises as an operator after 40 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and affiliated with Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lina Cortez, his daughter, Cheryl Ann DeLeon and his grandson, Brandon DeLeon. He is survived by his loving wife, Delores Vidrine DeLeon of Beauxart Gardens, his son, Jason DeLeon of Beauxart Gardens, his daughters, Donna J. Gonzalez and husband Jose of Nederland, Lina G. Ihle and partner Donna King of Lumberton, Mary F. Gallion and husband Tony of Port Arthur, Nicole DeLeon of Nederland. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rennie P. Ihle, Zachary Gonzalez, Ross Gonzalez, Heather Ihle, Vanessa Daigle, Cloe Richard and one great grandchild, Jadyn Ihle-Gorman as well as his sister, Molly Montalvo of Port Arthur, his brothers, Marcelo DeLeon of Houston and Alex DeLeon of Pennsylvania.
