Lillian Faye Chandler

Lillian Faye Chandler, 82, of Port Arthur passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Nederland. She was born September 29, 1928 to Lela Estell Gillis Dorman and Edward Worster Dorman in Deweyville, Texas. Lillian graduated from Lutcher Stark Senior High School in 1949. She has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Port Neches. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Melvin Mack Chandler, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Faye and husband David Greer, Jr. of Port Arthur, Jennie Kay and husband John Savell of Port Arthur, her son, Melvin Mack Chandler, Jr. and friend Ronnie Adam Cloud of Orange along with five granddaughters, Martha Faye Forsythe and husband Fred, Christina Kay McRae, Rachel Jean Scott, Dorothy Alyssa Savell, Elizabeth Louise Greer and one great grandson, Sam Allen Forsythe as well as several nieces and nephews.
