Margaret Elizabeth Trahan

Margaret Elizabeth Savarino Trahan, 87, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at a private care facility in Groves. She was born October 3, 1923 to Antionette Montalbano Savarino and Philip Savarino in Port Arthur, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a homemaker. Margaret was very active in her church, St. James Catholic Church, where she served on the altar society as a past president, and on the bereavement committee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother J. P. Savarino and her husband, Parlis Trahan She is survived by her daughter, Sharon LaBove and husband Jerry of Port Arthur, two grandsons, Chad LaBove and wife Lori of Port Neches, Jamey LaBove of Dallas along with three great grandchildren, Daviss LaBove, Bailee LaBove and Jacie LaBove as well as two sisters, Virginia "Nan" Savarino and Barbara Elizondo both of Port Arthur along with several nieces and nephews.
