Deborah (Yo-Yo) Nequent McBride Deborah Kay Marie Nequent McBride, 55, of Port Acres, Texas has lost her battle with Lung Cancer on Wednesday, October 20th at 7: 1 0 a.m. Debbie lived in Port Acres for the majority of her life. Debbie is survived by her Mother, Blanche Nequent of Port Acres, Daughter, Brandy Temple Passmore and her Husband Todd of Nederland; a Son, Oscar Simmons and his Girlfriend, Mindy Chambers of Port Acres; a granddaughter, Sadie Temple of Nederland, a Step-granddaughter, Taylor Passmore of Beaumont, four Sisters, Linda Marsh Ham of Crockett, Carolyn Small Castillo of Port Arthur, Anita Nequent of Port Arthur, Phyllis Nequent of Port Arthur, three Brothers, Chris Nequent of Buna, Thomas Nequent of Port Acres, Philip Nequent of Houston and her Husband, Bentley (Ben) McBride of Port Acres. She was preceded in death by her Father, Ernest Nequent and her Brother, Alden (AI) Nequent, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 29, 1955 the daughter of Ernest and Blanche (Livingston) Nequent. She was the first born of seven to Ernest and the third daughter of nine born to Blanche. She enjoyed all things outdoors: fishing, boating, hunting, camping, hummingbirds, gardening, dancing and spending time with her friends and family. She never shied away from hard work; in fact, she welcomed it. She also had a special love of cartoons i.e. Disney Movies, jigsaw puzzles, good food, playing dice and going to the lake with her closest friends.
