Myrtis Rebecca Feltman Land, 94, of Port Arthur went home with Jesus on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Cypress Glen East Nursing Home in Port Arthur. She was born June 17, 1916 as the ninth in a family of twelve to Ophelia Ellen Coats Perry and James Alexander Perry in Frankston, Texas. She has been a resident of the area since 1937. Myrtis worked for fifteen years as a salesperson at Greenlawn Memorial Park. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Arthur. Myrtis and Franklin Feltman had five children, following Mr. Feltman's death, she married Archie James Land, Sr. of Port Acres. Mr. Land had two sons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Franklin Feltman and her second husband, Archie Land, Sr., her daughter, Rebecca Diane Feltman Kelly Goodman and her grandson, Keith Kelly, her stepson, Archie James Land, Jr. as well as her parents and several of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Elaine Bilderback and husband Carl of Pottsboro, Texas, her sons, Jack Edwin Feltman and wife Joyce of Little Cypress, Texas, James Stephen Feltman and wife Belva of Nederland, Texas, Billy Frank Feltman and wife Janet of Lufkin, Texas, her stepson, Archie Land, Jr. and wife Jenelle of Nederland, Texas. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, her sister, Martha "Tincy" Righter and husband Edson of Trappe, Pennsylvania along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
