Byrdie Frances Court, 88 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on December 2, 2010 at her daughter's home in Port Acres, TX. Frances was born on March 21, 1922 in Doucette, Texas to Nettie Moye Wood and Charles Wood. She has been a resident of Port Arthur for over 70 years and was a homemaker. Frances was a member of the North End Baptist Church. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Emerson Court, Jr. and sister, Billie Moye Ramsey. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Tompkins and husband Rodney of Port Arthur, sons, Rickey Court of Port Arthur, Charles Court of Groves and Michael Court of Orangefield, grandchildren, Lori Tompkins, Daren Tompkins and wife Christy, Dusten Tompkins, Michael Court, David Court, Kristofer Court, Emily Marler and husband Chuck, Kimmy Thomas and husband Stan and Tammie Logan, great grandchildren, Destianey Tompkins, Kaylie Tompkins, Tristan Fuller and Cameron Tompkins along with numerous foster grandchildren and great grandchildren.
