James Milton Hitt

James Milton Hitt, 57, of Groves, Texas passed away on December 31, 2010 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves. He was born March 1, 1953 to Clara Lyssy Hitt and Paul E. Hitt in Port Arthur, Texas. James served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a carpenter until he became disabled. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Hitt. James is survived by his parents, Paul and Clara Hitt of Newton, Texas, his son, James E. Hitt of Plano, Texas, his sister, Julia Myers and husband Archie of Bridge City, Texas, his brother, Paul E. Hitt, Jr. and wife Teresa of Newton, Texas, his nieces, Amber Hitt of Florida, Candice Lee of Key Largo, Florida, Samantha Lee Myers of Bridge City, Texas, his nephews, Jerid Hitt of Japan, Adam Myers of Austin, Texas and Benjamin James Myers of Bridge City, Texas, his aunt, Jerry Lyssy Sower of Plfugerville, Texas along with several cousins.
