Hazel Lorraine Williams, 86 of Groves passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Hazel was born on July 21, 1924 to John Cliff Wyble and Hazel Mae Carrier Wyble in Port Arthur. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Christus St. Mary Hospital as admission supervisor after 20 years of service. Hazel was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Port Arthur Business College. She was a life long resident of the Port Arthur Groves area. Hazel was known by her family and friends as "Granny" and "Chooki". Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents John Cliff and Hazel Mae Williams and brother, Glen "Sugar" Wyble, son-in-law, Tom Norris. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Blynda Williams of Nederland, daughters, Karen and her husband Mike Pardue of Port Neches and Molly Norris of Port Acres, brothers, Clifford Wyble of Ashland, MO., Donald "Butch" Wyble and his wife Helen of Nederland, grandchildren, Chief Petty Officer Robert Alan Pardue of Japan, Lori Ann Hardy and husband Jason of Nederland, Clint Aaron Pardue and his wife Danielle of San Antonio, Brian Anthony Norris of Port Acres, Keri Lynn Norris of Port Acres and John Irwin Williams, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Pasadena, great grandchildren, Carson Anthony Norris of Groves, Gracie Le and Addison Elise Williams of Pasadena and Anderson Grant Pardue of San Antonio.
