Patty Rae Loftin

Patty R. Loftin 53 of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her residence. Patty was born in Port Arthur on November 15, 1957 to Rayoul and Edrise Saltzman Abshire. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur where she was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School class of 1976. Patty was a member of the Federated Women's Club as part of the "Writers Club". Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.. Patty was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Keith Loftin of Port Arthur, son, Brian Loftin of Dallas, daughter, April Loftin of Groves, brother, Huey and his wife Lynn Abshire of Arlington. She is also survived by numerous brother-in laws, sister-in -laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
