Julius Joseph Amy

Jules Amy 90, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 27, 1920 in Loreauville, LA. to Gaston and Idolie LaFontaine Amy. Jules was a resident of Mid-County for the past 50 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He retired from Neches Butane as a carpenter with 33 years of service. Jules proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lloyd Amy and sisters, Lou Romero Hull and Tiny Tillsbury. Jules is survived by his wife Dorothy "Dot" Amy of Beauxart Garden, daughter, Debbie Sterling, Kemah, sons, Kerney Amy of Groves, Pooch and his wife Mare Amy of Colleyville, Tod Amy and his wife Roxy of Nederland, brother, Joe Amy of Baton Rouge, grandchildren, Larry and Amanda Sterling and their daughters Mia and Maci of Nederland, April Seymour and her daughters Grace and Emma of Port Neches,Brandell Wappler and her husband Tim, Lexi Amy and her son Beckett Stone, Zoee Amy, Scout Amy and Echo Amy.
