Brenda S. Medina, 33, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was born January 15, 1978 to Cresmelita Ignacio Sarmiento and Luperto Sarmiento in Bismona Atlantico Norte, Nicaragua. She has been a resident of the United States since 1995. Brenda worked as a caregiver and was a member of Good Shepherd Church. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Medina of Port Arthur, two daughters, Zoe and Vivel Medina both of Port Arthur, son, Chesly Medina of Port Arthur, her mother, Cresmelita Sarmiento of Port Arthur, father, Luperto Sarmiento of Nicaragua, two sisters, Catalina Guill of United States, Emmalina Albin of Nicaragua, two brothers, Evelio Sarmiento of Nicaragua and Arman Sarmiento of United States, one deceased sister, Reyna Sarmiento.
