Otis Joseph LeBlanc, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born May 10, 1920 to Eleane Reaux LeBlanc and O'niel LeBlanc in Erath, Louisiana. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a resident of Port Arthur/Groves area for 62 years. Otis retired from Gulf Oil as a pipefitter after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Olette Delcambre and his brother, Aliba LeBlanc. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Premeaux LeBlanc of Groves, Texas, daughter, Donna Minter and husband Buggar of Bridge City, Texas, son, Louis LeBlanc and wife Nancy of Alvin, Texas, five grandchildren, Ricky LeBlanc, Michelle Peltier, Todd Minter, Tammy Hornsby and Michael LeBlanc, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his brothers, Mayo LeBlanc of Bridge City, Texas, Chester LeBlanc of Abbeville, LA., Black LeBlanc of Erath, LA. and L. J. LeBlanc of Delcambre, LA, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
