Lewis E. Henderson

January 14, 1919 - March 14, 2012

Lewis E. Henderson beloved grandfather and great grand-father passed away peacefully on March 14, 2012 at the age of 93. Lewis was born on January 14, 1919 to the late Sylvia May Parish & Lewis Henderson. Until recent years Lewis was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Weaver, he worked at the Texaco refinery for many years, and he was a lifelong member of The Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Schiwart Henderson and his daughter, Karen Henderson. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Sam and Tom, and by his sister Hazel. He is survived by his granddaughter Trisha Simoneaux (husband Rev. Brandon J. Simoneaux), his two great granddaughters, Janie Louise and Molly Marie Simoneaux, his great grandson Samuel Lewis Simoneaux and many other family and friends.
