Eunice Halter Bromley, 80, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born on October 14, 1931 to Eunice Marie Duncan Halter and Bejamin W. Halter, Sr. in Fernandina Beach, Florida. She lived in the area for 64 years. Eunice worked as a secretary for a Port Arthur businessman for several years, she was also a homemaker. She was affiliated with Lakeview Methodist Church. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Capt. D. J. Bromley, Jr. son, Danny J. Bromley, III, brothers, Joseph, Arthur (A E), Ben, Henry, Paul and Richard Halter, her sisters, Eva Guinn and Mae Daughtry. She is survived by her son, Gary W. Bromley and wife Hilda of Groves, Texas, her daughter, Sharon Bromley-Gilkerson of Buna, Texas, her daughter-in-law, Suzy Bromley of Conroe, Texas, five grandchildren, Garret Shawn Bromley and wife Kimball Krone Bromley, Chad W. Gilkerson, Daniel J. Gilkerson, Brian Doebele and wife Rebecca, Lisa Bromley, two great granddaughters, Kristin and Madison Doebele Eunice is also survived by her two sisters, Adelia Timms of Groves, Texas, Marie Atrelli of New Jersey as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
