Donald J. Cormier, 69, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on December 13, 1942 to Agnes Eitenne Cormier and Joseph B. Cormier in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a 1961 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a lifelong resident of the area. Don retired from Giglio Distributing after 25 years in supervision. He was the co-owner of the family business, Interior Sources by Jacquelyn for 18 years. Don was a member of St. Therese, Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and on the parish council. He was also a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3195. He was preceded in death by his parents. Don is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Alphin Cormier of Port Arthur, Texas, his daughter, Jacquelyn Prevost and husband Tommy of Port Neches, Texas, his son, Derrick Cormier and wife Christin of McKinney, Texas along with two grandchildren, Joseph Cormier and Emersyn Prevost as well as his sister, Patricia Holstead and husband Edwin of Converse, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
