Claris Cooper

February 26, 1920 - July 3, 2012

Claris Cooper went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2012, in San Antonio, TX at the age of 92. She was born to William Allen Hines and Nancy Ella Boyette Hines on February 26, 1920, in Pineland, TX. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Port Arthur for over 45 years before moving to San Antonio. She has been a member of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio for the last 12 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Gladys and Maxine; her husband, Elton; and her granddaughter, Lynn Wallace. Her sweet smile and loving manner will be missed by her daughter, Lois Wallace and her husband, Gary, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, and all who knew her.
