Ralph N. Stubbs, 90, of Baytown, Texas and formerly of Port Arthur passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. He was born on October 16, 1921 to Eva Norris Stubbs and Rubin Stubbs in Welch, Louisiana. Ralph was a longtime resident of Port Arthur before moving to Baytown to be closer to his family. He served in the Army Air Corp with the 5Th squadron during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Ralph retired from Texaco as Plant Supervisor after 30 years of service. He was affiliated with the Baptist faith. Graveside service will be at 11:30 AM Friday, September 14, 2012 in Memory Gardens with Rev. Jeff Bell, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors of Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Marie Allen Stubbs of Baytown, Texas, his daughters, Carol Faye Moser and her husband Karl of San Antonio, Texas, Jennie Eastburn and her husband Farron of Baytown, Texas, two grandchildren, Jeremy Eastburn and his wife Carolyn, Jessica Eastburn and her husband Jody Pentecost, seven great grandchildren, Gage Eastburn, Gavin Eastburn, Presley Eastburn, Phillip Pentecost, Tristian Eastburn, Amythe Pentecost and Logan Norris Whitfield. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Fay Kilien and her husband Mike of Seattle Washington, nieces, Debbie, Mary Evelyn, Laura and Nancy, nephew, Paul as well as his many friends and neighbors in Port Arthur with a heartfelt appreciation to all that helped look out for them. A special thanks to his loving caregivers including his niece, Debbie Dean and Sylvia Perez.
