Robert Alan Perry

Robert Alan Perry, age 81 of Groves, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Robert was born on December 6, 1931 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Harlow and Anna Elam Perry. He retired from Gulf Oil after serving 37 years of service. He proudly served in the United States Army. Robert belonged to the Port Neches Masonic Lodge #1163 for over 50 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral home with burial to follow at Memory Garden Cemetery. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Ray Perry; a daughter, Cecilia Perry and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruby Perry of Groves; daughters, Brenda Wall of Orangefield, TX, Debra Welch of Alvin, TX, Karen Perry of Groves, TX., 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Wall, John Wall, Konnie Felps, Jimmy Felps, Alan James "A.J." Hebert, Heather Higgins and 5 great grandchildren.
