Susana "Lou" Greenwood, 93, of Port Arthur, TX died at 3:32 PM, Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Wesleyan Nursing Home in Georgetown, TX. She was born May 24, 1919 in Guanaja, Honduras, to Lazarus and Feddie Ebanks. Her husband Arthur Greenwood, son Randy Greenwood, sister Sarah Verne Webster, brothers Cleo Clifton Ebanks, Ernest Alfred Ebanks and Dexter Ebanks preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter Judy and husband Van Russell Powery of Georgetown, TX, four grandchildren Dean Powery and wife Valerie of Slidell, LA, Marla Altemus and husband Jeff of Katy, TX, Pamela Fraprie and husband Mark of San Marcos, TX and Laurie Chodorow and husband Scott of Austin, TX; ten great-grandchildren Matthew and Kaela Powery, James, Timothy, Emily and William Altemus, Joshua and David Fraprie and Amy and Isaac Chodorow; four sisters, Agnes Andrie Christian, Elizabeth Feddie Moore and husband Ellery, Mavis Ideline Phillips and Melba Zoie Ebanks. Lou was a long-time resident of Port Arthur, TX where she attended the Groves Community Seventh-day Adventist Church. Later she moved to Georgetown, TX with her daughter where she attended the Georgetown Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved gardening, caring for people, music and hymns, walks, spending time outdoors and spending time with her family and at her church. The visitation is Monday, Mar. 25 at 6:00pm at the Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, March 26 at 9:00am also at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. The burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
