Everett Cecil Toney, age 78 passed away at his residence on Friday, April 5, 2013. He was born on May 17, 1934 in Fayetteville, West Virginia to Dewey and Eunice Burley Toney. "Toney" was a resident of this area for the past 8 years and formerly lived in Baytown where he was a diesel mechanic for the cities of Baytown and LaPort. He retired from ATI. He was of the Baptist faith. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:30 PM in the Clayton Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Cremation is entrusted to Clayton Thompson. "Toney" was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife: Janie Toney of Groves, sons: Everett Cecil Toney, JR. and wife Jenny of Wayne, Michigan, Kenneth and wife Shauwn Toney of Sumpter Township, Michigan, Jeffery and wife Penni Toney of Wayne, Michigan, daughters: Karen and husband Rallan Wandzilak of Brecken Ridge, Michigan, Rose and husband Bill Krause of Rockwall, Texas, Susan and husband Greg Raley of Westland, Michigan, brother Lloyd and wife Ann Toney of Beckley of West Virginia, 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
