Carol Louise Champeaux, 56, of Winnie, Texas passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She was born on December 16, 1956 to Ethel Norris Champeaux and Allen George Champeaux in Yuma, Arizona. Carol worked as a dispatcher for a local trucking company in Winnie. She has been a resident of Winnie for many years. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father. Carol is survived by her mother, Ethel Felder of Groves, Texas, her sisters, Janet Champeaux of Nederland, Texas, Pauline Johns and husband Ronald of Pasadena, Texas, her aunt, Jane Hebert of Groves, Texas, nieces and nephews.
