Ruby passed away on May 1, 2013 in Groves, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1932 in Port Acres to Jack and Lucille Crenshaw. Ruby was a 61 year resident of this area. She was a homemaker and a member of Agape Christian Fellowship. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Perry, children, Cecilia Perry and Robert Ray Perry. Ruby is survived by her daughters, Brenda Wall of Orangefield, Debra Welch of Alvin and Karen Perry Higgins of Groves, 6 grandchildren, Jeremy and John Wall, Konnie and Jimmy Felps, Alan James "A.J." Hebert and Heather Higgins along with 5 great grandchildren.
